Grace Habimana

Grace is the eldest daughter in a family of four, who from a very young age took on significant responsibilities. At just 16, she began working as a waitress immediately after school to provide essential support for her family.

Each morning, Grace would rise at 5 AM to embark on the challenging walk to school, arriving by 7 AM. The harsh winter conditions and rainy seasons often made punctuality difficult, and despite her best efforts, she frequently faced punishment from teachers, even being refused entry to class for arriving late. After finishing her school day, Grace would return to the restaurant, working tirelessly for tips until midnight before starting on her school assignments.

Grace found strength and solace in her faith from an early age, deeply embracing the word of God as the guiding force in her life. Her unwavering determination led her to become a respected leader within her church community, notably directing the choir even at a young age.

In 2015, Grace successfully completed Grade 12 at Birchleigh High and pursued her passion for nurturing children and helping those in poverty by becoming a pre-school teacher. Additionally, she enjoys sports and has a deep commitment to developing outreach programmes in local communities. Grace is highly focused, goal-oriented, and driven by clear deadlines.

Her potential and inspiring story caught the attention of the founder of the company several years ago, who recognised her passion, drive, and dedication. Committed to her growth, he provided extensive training and mentorship. Today, at just 27, Grace serves as the Marketing and Human Resources Director, holding equal shares in the company. Her life experience has deeply instilled in her an understanding of resilience, service, and compassion.
